Lovely fresh produce

As a subscriber to Bute Produce's weekly fruit & veg box we look forward to seeing what goodies arrive along with the staples. Every week you get a supply of the basics such as potatoes, carrots, onions, cabbages, cauliflower, apples and pears plus seasonal items such as tomatoes, leeks, beetroot, spring onions, squashes and on occasion we even get freshly picked herbs and local honey. We love getting the lettuces with the roots still attached - they are planted out in the garden so they can keep growing and last a lot longer. A tad more variety week to week would be the icing on the cake - there's only so much celery one can eat - but for the price paid (including delivery) and the quality of the produce (top notch) this isn't a complaint by any means. Sometimes it forces you to try new recipes to use stuff up which isn't a bad thing!
