Summary review by MJ
NB: As at the time of writing, March 2021, Ardencraig Garden is under threat of closure having had its funding jeopardised in Argyll & Bute Council cost-saving measures. A local campaign is under way to reverse this decision or come up with alternative ways that the gardens can be saved.
A beautiful hidden gem just outside Rothesay - lovely beds with more exotic species in greenhouses, plus a small aviary. Most of the plants grown on here are looked after by a knowledgeable gardening team and will be transplanted into the stunning seaside displays and hanging baskets and planters around the town during the summer.
