Montford cottage is a lovely whitewashed house standing in a unique position, perched on the rocks with a sea view on 3 sides, and a rustic, walled garden overlooking the sea. Its situation is perfect for exploring Bute either by foot, bicycle, car or open top bus. It is 3 miles south of the main town of Rothesay and 2 miles north of the Island's great attraction Mountstuart House, the seat of the Marquess of Bute.
