Islandwide deliveries of fresh, frozen and packaged foods twice weekly from a wide range.
Great service every time
We started using Reids during covid lockdown #1 when our local supermarket resembled Russia in the 80s due to panic buyers and supply chain shock issues. Since then we've had at least one delivery per month and use them for all of our bulk essentials. Pricing is generally a tad below retail with the occasional bargain to be had, however in general the quality of the produce is a tad higher than the usual brands. Bear in mind they are geared up for catering supplies, so pack sizes are usually massive (not all products - some they split) so a chest freezer and store cupboard will come in handy - or else hook up with neighbours or friends & family to split packs.
We especially love the fact that we can order right up until about 10pm the night before, and next morning everything is sitting on the doorstep nice and early, ferries permitting. Stock levels are shown in real time so you can choose to avoid low or out-of-stock items and you can leave a note if you want something substituting. They deliver to Bute on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Delivery is free with a minimum order of £30.
