Bute Outdoor Swimming Society started to promote swimming in the idyllic setting that Bute provides – clean, clear waters; wide, sheltered bays; accessible coastlines; stunning scenery.
From the simple pleasure of paddling and floating about to the enjoyment of swimming across a shallow bay, from the sense of accomplishment swimming along a stretch of wild coastline brings to the challenge of island hopping – Bute has a swim to suit every interest and ability level. Bute Outdoor Swimming Society promotes the enjoyment of Bute’s magnificent waters.
