Skeoch Woods are set on a steep hillside with lots of steps to access the various areas. It's not a huge wood but is great for play, picnics or dog walking and has stunning views right across Rothesay Bay.
The wood is accessed from the seafront promenade Argyle Place opposite Isle of Bute Sailing Club. There are several entrances and paths weaving through the woods, all with steep steps. Plentiful free parking is available along the seafront.
Skeoch Wood is NOT wheelchair accessible. Please consider this before planning a visit if this is a concern.
Skeoch Wood does not have a car park, however there is usually plenty of free on-street parking in the vicinity.
