Popular red sandy beach in this quiet corner of Bute. Runs from the small village of Kilchattan Bay with its facilities out towards Kingarth where the beach is more rural. Not very much sand at high tide.

There are public toilets near the old pier in the middle of Kilchattan Bay (look out for the flags)
Kilchattan Bay Post Office serves refreshments and ice cream
