BikeBute e-bike subscription service launches

The first of its kind on any Scottish island, Fyne Futures today launched its new eco-friendly e-bike scheme Bike Bute, available to both Bute residents and visitors on a half day or full day rental basis (visitors) or an hourly basis for existing Car Bute subscribers.

With bases right by the ferry terminal in Rothesay as well as Port Bannatyne, a fleet of 16 Raleigh MOTUS Grand Tour electric bicycles including on-boarding support and advice for first time users.

These bikes have a range of up to 130 miles which is ample to get you all the way round the island several times! The perfect low-carbon travel choice for experiencing the lovely Isle of Bute at a slower pace.
