High winds forecast for Bute, Friday 26th November

UPDATED 25/11 @ 10:00 : The Met Office now show the winds appearing overnight Thursday into Friday for 24 hours. It looks as though Saturday 27th will now be clear. Additionally the predicted wind direction has changed slightly to north westerly.

The Met Office has issued an advance weather warning for high winds throughout the day on Friday 26th November, with potential to extend into Saturday 27th.

Westerly winds exceeding 40mph are anticipated which we expect may cause disruption on the Wemyss Bay to Rothesay ferry crossing, especially so if we are still reliant solely on MV Coruisk.
