Anchor Tavern reopens under community ownership

Port Bannatyne's Anchor Tavern reopens on Wednesday 13th April 2022 from 3pm under community ownership.

With a newly refurbished bar and hub space, a wide range of beers, spirits, soft drinks and snacks will be on offer, along with a friendly atmosphere!

This will be the first pub to open in the north of the island since the Port Inn closed its doors in 2020. Following a community buyout of the anchor premises, the plan is to offer more services such as a regular pub quiz, live music and more.

Situated right on the seafront at Kames Bay, there's no better place to be on a nice evening!
