Bute Sew Mill Store Closure, but...

Bute Sew Mill has taken the difficult decision to close the store on East Princes Street, however the business itself is not closing - it will just be scaled back a little and run from home.

In a Facebook post, Sandra the owner said:

"Unfortunately I have taken the tough decision to close the shop from the 20th May. With the rising costs these days it just wasn't feasible anymore to offer my services at a competitive price and rather than put large increases on my customers, I shall be working from a studio at home offering a smaller range of services. If you are one of my brides please don't panic lovelies this will make no difference to your alterations I can sew anywhere.

I am in the process of looking for a new venue to continue the sewing classes as I know they were so popular and enjoyed by all so keep an eye on page for updates hopefully have news soon.

Finally massive thanks to all my customers, and sewing students your continued support was really appreciated so onwards to a new chapter "
