New defibrillator at Ettrick Bay

Heartstart Bute have announced the availability of a new PAD (public access defibrillator) which has now been installed in the old red phone box in the car park of Ettrick Bay tearoom.

This brings the current total to 9 such life-saving devices dotted around the island:

- Appletree Nursery, Mackinlay Street, Rothesay

- Ardbeg Mini Market

- Bute Shinty Club, Meadows Road, Rothesay

- Ettrick Bay tearoom

- Kilchattan Bay old pier

- Kingarth (Enterkin phone box)

- Macs Bar, Rothesay

- Mount Stuart visitor centre

- Rothesay Joint Campus
