Job: Visitor Welcome Assistants

As the first point of contact for visitors, the Visitor Welcome Assistant provides visitors with the information they need for an enjoyable and memorable visit. The Visitor Welcome Assistant is responsible for; welcoming visitors, assisting with orientation, up-selling membership, processing cash and card transactions including retail sales, and cashing up at the end of each shift.

It is essential that the Visitor Welcome Assistant has great communication skills and the ability to work alone under pressure. Strong IT skills and competency using electronic point of sale systems are desirable.

The role is paid hourly and is fixed term March-October with a start date w/c 27th March. The attraction opens Saturday to Wednesday in April, May, June, September and October, and candidates must be available to work this pattern including bank holiday dates. The attraction opens daily in July and August, and shift patterns will vary during this period.
