Job: Apprentice
We have an established apprentice program and are now looking for our next apprentice to join the team at Bute Blacksmiths
You will gain practical experience within a busy workshop and attend Glasgow Clyde College Annisland Campus for 3 years studying 2 days per week.
On successful completion you will be awarded an SVQ in Fabrication and Welding.
Role specific training will be provided along with oppertunities to work at sites off island.
We are accredited against the ISO 9001 so standards of work are high.
Your projects at site and studies will work hand in hand and you will have a course assessor and workshop mentor to guide you.
To apply you must have 4 National 5 Grade D awards or above and have plans to learn to drive
